Biographical/Historical Note

Sister Estelle was born Estelle Robillard on August 4, 1914 in Fall River, MA. She entered the Fall River Congregation on February 2, 1935. She received the habit on August 19, 1935 and was given the religious name, Sister Estelle. She pronounced first vows on August 20, 1936 and final vows on August 20, 1939. During her years in the congregation she served in the following schools: St. Anne's, Fall River, MA; and Dominican Academy, Fall River, MA, 1950-1959. Sister Estelle earned a BA from Catholic University of America, Washington, DC and an MA in Religious Education from Providence College, Providence, RI. She died February 27, 1993.
