Biographical/Historical Note

Sister Marcolin was born Eva Mongeau on July 3, 1902 in Roxton Falls, Quebec, Canada. She entered the Fall River Congregation on July 2, 1927. She received the habit on July 25, 1928 and was given the religious name, Sister Marcolin. She pronounced first vows on August 4, 1929 and final vows on August 4, 1933. During her years in the congregation she served in the following schools: St. Anne, Fall River, MA, 1927-1945, 1946-1947, 1948-1949; St. Peter's, Plattsburgh, NY, 1945-1946, 1947-1948; Mooers Forks, NY, 1949-1959; and Dominican Academy, Fall River, MA, 1960-1974. She died on September 26, 1990.
