Biographical/Historical Note
Sister Rose of Lima was born Sophie Marcotte on March 11, 1849. No date of entrance to the Fall River Congregation is recorded. She received the habit on August 29, 1892 and was given the religious name, Sister Rose of Lima. She pronounced first vows on August 30, 1893. There is no record of ministry assignments. She died August 29, 1897.
