Biographical/Historical Note
Sister Mary Loretta was born Frances Love on March 5, 1901 in Atlanta, GA. She entered the Fall River Congregation on May 5, 1923. She received the habit on March 2, 1924 and was given the religious name, Sister Mary Loretta. She pronounced first vows on March 7, 1925 and final vows on March 7, 1929. During her years in the congregation she served in the following schools: Dominican Academy, Fall River, MA, 1947-1972; St. Peter's,... Plattsburgh, NY; and St. Dominic's, Plattsburgh, NY. Sister earned a BA from Catholic University of America, Washington, DC. She died on December 5, 1994.
