Biographical/Historical Note
Sister Sybillina was born Catherine Halloran on April 2, 1892 in Fall River, MA. No date of entrance to the Fall River Congregation is recorded. She received the habit on March 7, 1917 and was given the religious name, Sister Sybillina. She pronounced first vows on March 7, 1918 and final vows on March 7, 1922. During her years in the congregation she served in the following schools: Dominican Academy, Fall River, MA; and St. Peter's, Plattsburgh, NY. Sister also served the congregation as Mistress o Studies. She died on July 7, 1967.
