Biographical/Historical Note
Sister Elizabeth was born Germaine Farand on May 18, 1905 in St. Clet, Quebec, Canada. She entered the Fall River Congregation on august 2, 1915. She received the habit on august 4, 1926 and was given the religious name, sister Elizabeth. She pronounced first vows on August 4, 1927 and final vows on August 4 1931. During her years in the congregation she served in the following schools: St. Anne, Fall River, MA; Dominican Academy, Fall River, MA; and St. Peter, Plattsburgh, NY;. Sister also served the congregation as Prioress of the Motherhouse. She died on July 14, 1990.
