Biographical/Historical Note
Sister Emilie was born Elise Dionne on March 29, 1886 in Quebec, Canada. No date of entrance to the Fall River Congregation is recorded. She received the habit on March 7, 1915 and was given the religious name, Sister Emilie. She pronounced first vows on March 7, 1916 and final vows on March 7, 1920. During her years in the congregation she served in the following schools: St. Anne, Cohoes; St. Francis Xavier, Achushnet, MA; and St. Anne, Fall River, MA. She died on October 7, 1896.
