Biographical/Historical Note

Sister Marie Ange was born Yvonne Collette on May 15, 1894 in St. Simon, Quebec, Canada. No date of entrance to the Fall River Congregation is recorded. She received the habit on September 16, 1917 and was given the religious name, Sister Marie Ange. She pronounced first vows on December 8, 1918, and final vows on December 8, 1922. During her years in the congregation she served in the following convents: St. Catherine, Fall River, MA; Cohoes; St. Rose, Acushnet, MA; MA; St. Augustine, Peru, NY; and St. Dominic, Plattsburgh, NY. She died on June 19, 1981.
