Biographical/Historical Note
Sister Margaret Mary was born Marie Bourgeois on September 17, 1894 in Quebec, Canada. She entered the Fall River Congregation on August 3, 1921 and received the habit on August 4, 1922. She pronounced first vows on August 5, 1923 and final vows on August 4, 1927. During her years in the congregation she served in the following schools: St. Ours, Que, Canada; St. Philip, P.Q. Canada; St. Ann's, Fall River, MA; St. Joseph, Fall River, MA; Chateauguay, NY; Mooers Forks, NY; Ellenburgh, NY; and St. Francis Xavier, Acushnet, NY; She also served in St. Patrick Nursery and as infirmarian in St. Catherine Convent, Fall River, MA. She died on January 27, 1983.
