Biographical/Historical Note

Sister Margaret Mary was born Josephine Boulay on February 1, 1881 in Fall River, MA. No date of entrance to the Fall River Congregation is recorded. She received the habit on February 1, 1902 and was given the religious name, Sister Marie Marguerite. (She began using the name Sister Margaret Mary after Vatican II). She pronounced first vows on March 8, 1903 and final vows on March 7, 1907. During her years in the congregation she served in the following schools: St. Anne's, Cohoes, MA; Acushnet and the Academy in Fall River, MA. She died on April 15, 1962.
