Biographical/Historical Note

Sister Jeanne de Verceil was born Armandine Beauregard on March 5, 1901 in Fall River, MA. She entered the Fall River Congregation on December 5, 1927 and received the habit on July 25, 1928 and was given the religious name, Sister Jeanne de Verceil. She pronounced first vows on August 4, 1929 and final vows on August 4, 1922. During her years in the congregation she served in the following schools: St. Ann's, Fall River, MA; St. Francis Xavier, Acushnet, MA; St. Peter's, Plattsburgh, NY; St. Ann's, Mooers Forks, NY; St. Augustine, Peru, NY; and St. Bernadette, Ne Haven, CONN. She also served in St. Patrick Nursery and as infirmarian in St. Catherine Convent, Fall River, MA. She died on August 26, 1919.
