Physical Description

The wooden chorus sign measures 10" wide x 7 7/8 high x 1/2" thick. The top surface of the sign bears a rectangle of smaller dimensions with a light background on which is painted, in black, the word "Chorus" in calligraphic style. Inside the letter "C "are painted images, in black, of two monks bowing before a black pedestal on which an open a book is resting (probably meant to represent the Scriptures). The surface of the sign is laminated. A label on the back of the sign says," MFD by Pyraglass, Inc. Reg U.S. Pat Off., Newburgh, NY."
