The folder contains 1 original and 1 copy of the folloiwng documents: the Decree signed by Eduardo Card. Martinez Somalo, Prefect, and Jesus Torres, CMF, Undersecretary, stating that the Congregation for the Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic LIfe have approved the Constitutions of the Dominican Sisters of Hope; a letter from Eduardo Card. Martinez Somalo to Sr. Catherine Walsh, Prioress noting a correction that was made in the text of the Constitutions and a copy of the approved Constitutions. The originals of the aforesaid documents are in the envelope in which they were sent from Rome. (As requested by the Dominican Sisters of Hope, the date of the Constitutions' final approval was July 22, the feast of St. Mary Magdalene.) The folder also contains a sprial bound copy of the approved "Constitutions and Directives of the Dominican Sisters of Hope."
