Historical

The folder contains a copy of the Constitutions of the Dominican Sisters of Hope dated 1995 June 9. It also contains a 1-page original letter to Prioress, Catherine Walsh, OP, signed by Jesus Torres, CMF, Undersecretary of the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life in Rome. The letter states that the constitutions of the Dominican Sisters of Hope are approved, "subject to certain amendments." Accompanying the letter are 3 1/2 single-sided pages of suggested amendments. It is not known whether the copy of the Constituions 1995 June 9, which is contained in the folder, is the version to which the letter from Fr. Torres refers.
