Biographical / Historical
The elementary school on the property of the Dominican Sisters of the Most Holy Rosary in Newburgh, NY began in what was known as the White House in 1883 (high school students were also taught there), it moved to the Casa San Jose in 1919. In 1950 a new building dedicated to Bishop Dunn was built and the elementary school moved and continued their operations there.
