Biographical / Historical

Sisters Margaret Flynn and Beth Jaspers founded the Service in  January 1977  to provide community health and advocacy services to people on fixed or low incomes in the towns of Norton, Appalachia, Big Stone Gap, Coeburn, and Wise in Wise County, Virgina.
