Many eventually became separate, independent ministries. Includes information on topics and people such as: development of Medicare and Medicaid (within structure of Dominican Sisters of the Sick Poor Home Health Agencies), Sister Mary Treanor first Director, Sr Virginia Hanrahan, philosophies and mission statements, correspondence, and discussions re: Congregation participation in Section 1866 of the Social Security Act.
