Fall River Reliquary

 Item — Box: 19, Object: 1

Scope and Contents

The Reliquary is made of glass with gold settings and a pink cushion as the base of the interior. The Reliquary contains a long lace trim, a branch of the orange tree planted by St. Dominic at Santa Sabina in Rome as per label, a rusty nail or bolt, a paper saying from the veil of Saint Catherine de Ricci, two papers with markings not identified, a certificate in French, a paper with scanned photo with explanation in Latin, and an envelope with a leaf inside that is addressed from West 59th street in New York City.

The Reliquary is most likely from the Dominican Sisters of Fall River considering the certificate in French.
