This collection contains records from all the sisters who make up the DSOH. It includes their personal papers, publications, artistic work, photographs, diplomas, ministry history etc. The Dominican Sisters of Hope were founded in 1995. The group includes members of the former Newburgh Domincan, Fall River Dominican and Ossining Dominican Communities. The sisters work and minister in various ways including community organizing, social work, education, environmental advocacy, and retreat ministry.

Biographical / Historical
Sister Rosemarie was born Rosemarie Wdzieczkowski on July 26, 1945 in Camden, NJ. She entered the Newburgh Congregation on August 30, 1963 and received the habit on June 22, 1964 when she was given the religious name, Sister Margaret Stephen. (She began using the name, Sister Rosemarie after Vatican II). She pronounced first vows on June 23, 1965 and final vows on September 20, 1970. During her years in the congregation she served in the following schools: St. Mary, Allenhurst, NJ, 1967-1974; St. Mary, Gloucester, NJ, 1974-1980; St. Rose, Haddon Heights, NJ, 1980-1982; St. Joan of Arc, Camden, NJ, 1982-1984; St. Lawrence, Lindenwold, NJ, 1984-1997; and Our Lady of Good Counsel, Moorestown, NJ, 1997-2017. Sister Rosemarie earned her BA in Elementary Education from Mount Saint Mary College.
