This collection contains records from all the sisters who make up the DSOH. It includes their personal papers, publications, artistic work, photographs, diplomas, ministry history etc. The Dominican Sisters of Hope were founded in 1995. The group includes members of the former Newburgh Domincan, Fall River Dominican and Ossining Dominican Communities. The sisters work and minister in various ways including community organizing, social work, education, environmental advocacy, and retreat ministry.

Biographical / Historical
Sister Ann Patrice was born Rose McKeon on August 5, 1919 in NYC. She entered the Ossining Congregation on December 8, 1944 and received the habit on June 23, 1945. She received the religious name, Sister Ann Patrice. She pronounced first vows on June 26, 1948 and final vows on June 24, 1949. During her years in the congregation she served in the following Dominican Sisters Home Health Care Agencies: Springfield, OH, 1946-1953; Cincinnati, OH, 1953-1964, 1974-1978; NYC, 1964-1966; Dayton, OH, 1966-1970; and Columbus, OH, 1970-1974. Sister also ministered: in the Infirmary of the Dominican Sisters of Newburgh, NY, 1978-1980; in Promotion for the Dominican Sisters of the Sick Poor, Ossining, NY, 1980-1985; and as a Medical Records Clerk Volunteer, Westchester County Medical Center, 1985-1996. Sister Ann Patrice earner her RN from Misericordia Hospital and her BS of Science in Nursing from Edgecliff College. She died October 14, 2007.
