Welcome to the Dominican Sisters of Hope Archives

The archives is the official, centralized repository of the Congregation of The Dominican Sisters of Hope (DSOH), Ossining, NY and three former Congregations: the Dominican Sisters of the Most Holy Rosary, Newburgh, NY; the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena, Fall River, MA; and the Dominican Sisters of the Sick Poor of the Immaculate Conception, Ossining, NY.

The archives contains all inactive records of administrative, legal, financial and historical value created or received by the four congregations. Materials include: physical and digital records of official business reports, handbook, photographs, visual recordings, diaries, dissertations etc.

Actual copies of the materials in the archives cannot be accessed through this medium. However, a researcher could look through our finding aids and make a request for the materials they’d like to view. Finding aids are descriptions of the archival collections that help facilitate discovery of information.
